Blend Bunny x Mei Pang: Flora and Fauna land in Canada

Mei Pang's collaboration with Blend Bunny grows by two. Flora and Fauna have landed in Canada, the next chapter of the world she opened with Rotten. Both palettes are built around the unconventionally beautiful, off-the-beaten-path sides of nature, and both are fully magnetic, so the pans lift out and rearrange into your own colour stories. The cover art on each is Mei's own.

First, Flora. Mei calls it her answer to a neutral palette, the plant world read through dried flowers, dusty mauves, and the browns of soil and bark. Fifteen magnetic pans of shades and shimmers, the shimmers standing in for the flowers that pull in pollinators, the mattes for the soil and bark beneath.

As seen on:

  • Karen Harris on YouTube - swatched the palette and shared her first impressions in her Flora and Fauna review.
  • @deandranicoleee on Instagram - broke Flora down shade by shade, from dried flowers and dusty mauves to soil and bark, with the shimmers standing in for pollinators.
  • @courtneyquarantine on Instagram - created a first look with the collection on a live stream, calling it a gorgeous set she will keep in heavy rotation.

Then Fauna, the stranger half. Where Flora reads plants, Fauna reads the animal world through its overlooked corners: the scavengers and the muted, unconventional tones most palettes skip. Every shade is inspired by an animal, down to Grullo, the mousy grey-brown of a horse's coat. Twenty magnetic mattes, an all-matte counterpart to Flora's shades and shimmers.
