Singe Beauty is the brand of Angelica Nyqvist, a Swedish makeup artist and YouTuber who started it as a passion project in 2023. She named it for the Swedish word for fire yellow, the orange-gold tone that became the brand's signature. Singe began with synthetic brushes and has grown into eyeshadow, blush, and lip. The Paisley Hoot eyeshadow palette and the Evocative lip liners are two of those pieces, available in Canada.
The Paisley Hoot palette is a 16-shade, '70s-inspired spicy neutral made to bring warmth, depth, and dimension to a look, and the shade names lean all the way in: Disco, Glam Rock, Bell Bottom, Tie-Dye, Shag Rug, Boogie. It is built from 9 highly pigmented blendable mattes, 5 sparkly metallics, a wet-look topper, and a multichrome, with paisley and owl artwork embossed into the pans. Every Singe product is vegan and cruelty-free.
The Evocative lip liners are a pigmented, creamy, long-wearing formula made for precision, in nine everyday-with-a-twist shades: Brazen Birch (mauve beige), Jazzy Juniper (rusty brick), Majestic Maple (warm peach), Ambitious Ash (cool taupe), Messy Mahogany (dark chocolate), Optimistic Oak (milk chocolate brown), Radical Rosewood (muted rosy red), Tender Teak (light warm terracotta), and Witty Walnut (cool brown with a purple undertone).
