Blue Tears is a much more interesting lip colour than I expected. On my lips, it comes across as a beautiful, deep violette-blue, and it's surprisingly opaque. You really only need a small amount, so a light hand is definitely the way to go.
What I'm enjoying most is using it as a mixing and transforming shade. Adding a little to brighter pinks shifts them into gorgeous, cooler plum tones without requiring a completely different lipstick. There's a lot of potential here for creating custom colours and changing the character of shades I already own.
I'm still experimenting with it, so I haven't discovered all of its possibilities yet, but that's part of what makes it fun. If you enjoy unusual colours and using lip products creatively rather than simply applying them straight from the tube, this is definitely worth exploring.
