Use and storage

The Huldra is one of those palettes that feels like it was made specifically for my taste. These are my dream colours: warm, smoky purples and mauves paired with deep, earthy greens. There’s something particularly beautiful about this combination—it feels rich and sophisticated without becoming overly bright or conventional. I think this colour story would be especially gorgeous on deeper, warm-toned skin with a touch of olive.
And, as I’ve come to expect from Singe Beauty, the formulas really deliver. The mattes are richly pigmented, smooth and substantial, while the shimmers have that elegant, dimensional quality that makes them incredibly versatile. Applied lightly, they give a beautiful veil of light; built up or applied with a wetter technique, some of them can become much more intense and almost foil-like. That range makes the palette surprisingly flexible despite its deep, moody colour story.
The wear time is excellent for me. I do always use an eyeshadow primer, so I can’t speak to how these perform without one, but over primer they hold up extremely well throughout the day.
This may be one of my favourite Singe palettes—and honestly, it might be creeping into favourite-palette territory overall. The colour story is just *that* good for me. It manages to combine the warmth, depth and slightly unusual colour combinations I love in a way that feels cohesive rather than gimmicky.
My one wish is for magnetic, removable pans. I would love to be able to transfer these shades into other palettes and customize my collection, particularly because there are several colours here that I can already imagine reaching for constantly.
The Huldra is a gorgeous palette for anyone who loves deep, warm, earthy colour with a sophisticated hit of purple and green. For me, it’s very close to a perfect colour story.
